Where and how can I apply?
You can apply for the city rewards card:
  1. In person at the Melbourne Town Hall with cash payments.
  2. You can download an application form from this website and fax or post the completed application to:

  3. Apply over the phone by contacting the city rewards office on 1300 768 698 (you will need your credit card details).
How long will it take for me to receive my city rewards card once I have put in my application?
Your city rewards card will be mailed out to your nominated address within approximately 7-10 working days upon receipt of your application.

What if my card is lost or stolen?
Lost or stolen cards unfortunately cannot be replaced. A new membership of $24 per annum will need to be paid in order to replace a lost card.

How do I redeem instant benefits?
A valid city rewards membership card must be presented at participating businesses to receive the benefit. The business has the right to refuse members who do not show their membership card.

How will I renew my card once it is expired?
You will be sent an application form prior to the expiry date of your membership, giving you the opportunity to renew your membership.

How will I be informed of additional offers?
You will be kept up to date with new member benefits and privileges via a weekly email update sent to your nominated email address. You can also visit this website or pick up a copy of Melbourne Leader, which will have a regular column on the program every Wednesday, for additional offers and benefits.

Will my information be used by any other businesses?
Your information will be kept confidentially by Pegasus Group Australia Pty Ltd, who is the program manager for city rewards in association with the City of Melbourne, and will not be disclosed to any other businesses.

Is the city rewards membership card transferable?
The card is not transferable. Each membership card is personalised with your name and a unique membership number on the front of the card.

How much money can I save with a city rewards membership?
The more you use your city rewards card and take advantage of member benefits, the more you save! The card will provide great benefits including, buy one get one free, 2 for 1 offers and savings of up to 50% off.

How much does city rewards membership cost?
The card has annual fee of $24 inclusive of GST.

How do I pay for my membership?
Payment can be by credit card, cheque or money order and can be mailed to the REPLY PAID address (no postage required). Note; cash payment is only accepted at the cashier at Melbourne Town Hall, except for special promotions that might be running.

What will appear on my credit card statement to signify the membership payment?
Your credit card will be processed upon receipt of your application form. Please note this will be processed by the merchant 'Pegasus Group Australia Pty Ltd', and this will be the name appearing on your credit card statement, for the charge of $24 per membership. No additional charge should occur unless previously authorised by you.

How will I receive my membership?
Your membership pack will be posted to you by Australia Post at no further cost to you.

How long is the membership valid?
The card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and the expiry date will appear on the front of the card.

Can I cancel my membership?
Your membership is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and no full or partial refund is available. With the growing list of benefits, we are confident that you will be able to utilise the program to get full value of your membership fee of $24.

What does the city rewards memberships entitle me to?
The card will give you access to privileges and ongoing benefits at select retail, entertainment and service providers in the Melbourne City. Your membership will provide you with a personalised city rewards membership card that will provide a range of instant rewards; a weekly email update with a list of updated benefits and offers; invitations to exclusive events and previews. What if my favourite store in Melbourne's CBD is not on the list of benefits?
